Trying out UY's suggestion of leaving the characters the same size, even though I'm enlarging the backgrounds to fit my frame.
Seems a little off to me, but then again, I've gotten used to enlarging them. We'll let things sit like this for a while, see how it turns out. If all else fails, they'll just be enlarged again.

Well, you don't also have to enlarge the backgrounds, you could just as easily enlarge the selection that you take, making it not as if the characters are smaller than they really are.

I agree with UY. Except not really. I allways resize 200%, 300% or not at all. If the background is too small. I just make the panels smaller. However, that's just what I do. I respect the other methods too.
