Welcome To Kirby's Dream Adventure
About Kirby's Dream Adventure
What's better than one Kirby? A whole mess of them, that's what! Follow them around their little adventures and daily lives, from the early randomness to the more story-built later parts. It's a Kirby adventure worth watching, even if the main pink puffball doesn't get as much direct screen time as he should! New pages come out Daily (usually,) and older pages are being updated whenever they are updated. Scheduled Days Off: Week of AGDQ and of SGDQ.

Normals - Pt.7
Sprained Arm - Mar 16 2017 09:11 am

So yeah, we had quite the snowstorm. Well over three feet. And guess what, all that work I actually sprained my arm somehow.

So I'm gonna take a couple weeks off from comic work, give it more time to heal up, cause let me tell you, typing this is a physical pain, not just an annoyance.

I'll catch back up with you oh, hopefully early April. Ciao 'till then.

Cover Comic - Oct 06 2016 10:56 am

So, with the soon to be released update for Smackjeeves, our benevolent overlord, both KDA and DDD News need to have a Cover Comic.

If you have any suggestions as to what should be on the Cover Comics, by all means, tell me here, and I'll see what I can do.

Updates Coming Back - Nov 06 2015 02:33 pm

Things have started to return to normal back here, so expect the comics to update again on Sunday (the 8th.)

No, I won't be doing catch-ups for what I missed. Sorry 'bout that, but I had other stuff to do but plan comics.

Update Problems - Oct 25 2015 04:45 pm

So, you're probably wondering what's up with me lately. Well, my job suddenly up and disappeared, my net's had more ups and downs that a roller coaster that have caused me to have some very FIRM conversations with Time Warner Cable.

So as I'm primarily doing job hunting right now, I make no promises about the update schedule. It'll update when it updates.

Sorry 'bout that folks.

Let's Play Schedule - May 17 2015 07:42 pm

So unlike my comic, I'm setting myself a schedule for my Let's Play channel.

What do you mean my comic has a schedule? I make no plans as to when a segment starts or ends, it does when it does. And "every day" isn't really a schedule, it's just what happens.

Anyhoo, over at my channel, I already have the basics started. As a general rule, I'll most likely record new episodes (even if you don't see them for a while,) on Mondays and Thursdays. Why these two days? They're the only days Ray isn't streaming normally. Why does that matter? Clearly you need to be introduced to the Brownman.

Now for the actual part you care about, the videos! This is scheduled as follows:

+Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Monday, Wednesday, Friday

+Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - Same days after KotOR is finished

+Star Wars: The Old Republic - Double upload on Tuesday & Thursday

KotOR and TOR will be going at the same time, then KotOR2 and TOR after KotOR is done. Why does TOR get a double upload on its days? I'm gonna try to keep the two playthroughs running at the same pace, so I'll upload one on each side those days. Will it stay that way? Who knows! I might play one character much more than the other.

What about the weekends you ask? Well, if I actually record some, expect the I Play to go up then. I may also throw up some BONUS episodes of TOR (ones that don't pertain to the playthroughs.) If I don't have anything to go up, then nothing will go up. That's all there is to that.

What's on the docket for after I finish with all the Star Wars? If I can get it to work, I hope to do the Mega Man Battle Network series. If not, possibly the Mass Effect series.

But Doo! DOO! You do a Kirby sprite comic! Why aren't you playing any Kirby games?! Sure, I could~, they're short and sweet little games, but you know, Ulti's got a lot of Kirby games up. Enjoy those. They're really good. And funny. Ulti is funny when he rages. I'm just snarky.

Let's Plays staring me! - May 01 2015 08:53 pm

So I have finally started to get into the whole "Let's Play" game. With very little knowledge of the programs used and things of the like, I'm jumping in cold, just like I did with my webcomic.

If any of you all are curious, you can find my videos on my Youtube channel.

Here's my current schedule for what's going on:

I Play - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
-+ This series is an extended one, I'll be playing and recording it whenever I feel like. As an "I Play," this will be casual, more of a way for me to just talk things out and have a good time. I will only ever have ONE I Play going at a time, so unless I specifically say I'm taking an extended break, you'll have this to laugh at or ask me stuff.

Let's Play - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
-+ This is my first official Let's Play, and is currently planned to be recorded twice a week, Monday's and Thursdays, and it'll start going online May 4th, 2015. For semi-obvious reasons. As a Let's Play, I'll do more "serious" explaining and conversations, always pertaining to the game at hand. Episodes will be about 30 minutes long, give or take. Should make the series last an acceptable length of time. I have a restored content mod installed for this playthrough, so we'll both be experiencing some new things.

Let's Play - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords
-+ I hope to start recording this game after I'm done with KotOR. Hope being the operative term, it's a REALLY buggy game, even with the restored content mod and bug fix patch installed. So while I have it on the docket, I make no promises.

Let's Play - Star Wars: The Old Republic
-+ This is an MMORPG, a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, so it'll be a bit different from my other two Star Wars games. There are 8 character classes to chose from, split evenly into two factions. I'll let you decide what I'm going to do for the Let's Play of it. You all can decide one class per faction. You can always head here if you want specific class info, but I'll simplify it here.

Galactic Republic
Jedi Knight (Warrior)
Jedi Consular (Mage)
Trooper (Gunner)
Smuggler (Rogue)

Sith Empire
Sith Warrior (Warrior)
Sith Inquisitor (Mage)
Bounty Hunter (Gunner)
Imperial Agent (Rogue)

Classes that share the same archetype (Warrior, Mage, Gunner, Rogue) are pretty much the same, just with a different flavor about them. So for instance, while a Trooper and a Bounty Hunter may do things different graphically and with different equipment, they're the same class. So please, don't choose the same archetype for both factions.

I'll give you about a week to decide on what you'd like to see before closing that off. This is mostly 'cause I actually want to play the game some myself, and I don't necessarily want to do the same class for a personal playthrough and a recorded one.

How's that for a wall-of-text?

"FIRST!" Posts... - Jul 27 2014 07:29 am

I am getting sick and tired of these things popping up. This is getting out of hand, so instead, I'm coming up with a little punishment system. If I have to delete a first comment for anyone from this point on, not only is it getting deleted, you'll be getting a week-long ban from posting comments.

If I have to do it again, it'll be a month. The third time, you're perma-banned from commenting.

That's it. No ifs, ands or buts. No appeals. We should all learn to never annoy the Author-Doo.

To my new readers... - Jul 09 2014 01:05 pm

Wow, it's been a while since I did a news post...

Anyhoo, if you're a new reader here, let me say, WELCOME! The Author-Doo is pleased with your presence and potential offerings of sugar.

Now as you read through the comic, I just know you're gonna freak out after the first 100 or so pages. The quality drop is almost impressive. I started this comic a long time ago, and I've improved since then. I gradually enhance the older comics to my modern-day standards. So just wait, you'll get back to the nice, clean looking stuff eventually.

And no, I don't really have a set schedule for when remakes come out. It will always be on a weekend, yes, but only when I have a clear idea how a page is going to change.

Also note, while I do read my comments (in fact, I get a lot of clever ideas from them,) I don't always respond to comics on older pages. So don't freak out about that as well, okay?
